Riding Lessons Packages

Unmounted Lessons:

For the ones that are just curious about horses and want to learn how to be safe around horses this is a great way to learn. This is great for someone that prefers not to ride or for parents who have children that like horses but don’t know much about them.

Pony Pals:

For the younger students. This 8 lesson course consists of a mix of unmounted and mounted lessons. This is a great intro package to learn safety and basics, such as leading, grooming and positioning. Ages usually range from 2 to 6 years old, with some exceptions. Students usually have ½ hour lesson due to attention span. I encourage parents to participate as well so you can learn together.

Private Lessons:

For Students age 6 and up, typically. This lesson course consists of the first few lessons unmounted and then the rest mounted. This is for the older rider that is able to be more focused. They will learn everything horse. We begin with safety and will even learn about stable management and first aid. Students usually have an hour long lesson.

The Fine Print:

We have to be very strict about casual cancellations… 12 hour minimum! Of course cold and flu season will be upon us soon and yes, emergencies do arise. Let’s all work together for the best interest of the horses, barn, the trainers and you. Failure to cancel before 3 hours or not showing up, then that lesson will be charged to your package and not rescheduled. If we, the barn or the trainers, have to reschedule due to illness, or show schedule, we will give you a minimum of 6 hours notice, usually much more. When there is an issue with the weather ( SEVERE STORMS, TORNADO, ETC. ) that will make it unsafe for the rider and the horse to have a lesson, then there will be no penalty and the lesson will be rescheduled. Lessons will continue unmounted with rain, snow or cold.
